Kangana Ranaut’s much-awaited film Simran finally released last Friday. Well, the film is getting mixed response from the critics as well as masses but Kangana’s performance has been widely appreciated. However, it seems like the director of the film, Hansal Mehta went on another planet as he suddenly deleted his Twitter account and returned after one hour. Now, isn’t that strange?
Well, after returning on the social media, the director took to Twitter and wrote, “ Since so many people are speculating about me deleting my twitter a/c here I am. Thankful for both the love and criticism coming our way. #Simran is an unconventional film about an unusual character. I’m very proud of it.”
Reportedly, Simran has earned a total of Rs 12.06 Cr. in first four days.
Amidst all, the director Hansal Mehta was much nervous about film’s response because Kangana has been going rather vocal about her past relationships and controversies with Hrithik Roshan and other B-town celebs. However, these mixed reviews and fair performance may have given some sigh of relief to the director.
