Shweta Tripathi doesn’t want to limit her to only films

Actress Shweta Tripathi, who forayed into Bollywood with Masaan, says she doesn’t want to herself to only one medium, and she is open to acting in TV shows. The 31-year-old actress, who is currently seen in Haramkhor opposite Nawazuddin Siddiqui, is still known for her role as the tomboyish Zenia Khan in TV show Kya Mast Hai Life.

Shweta says, “I did only one TV show but I’ve never said no to TV. I don’t want to limit myself to only one medium. I’m an artist and I want to keep doing interesting projects regardless of the medium.”

When asked about what kind of role interests her, she quips, “Whether it’s a TV show or a film, I just want to do challenging roles. I want an interesting script. For instance, if you are telling a story, why are you telling it, how are you telling it is important.”

Interestingly, she is busy shooting for her upcoming web series The Trip. The 10-episode series tells the story of four girls bonding on a road trip from Delhi to Thailand.
