Sex racket busted in Pune city

Pune: Nine girls have been rescued in a high-profile sex racket, which was being operated in a posh area of Pune by Pune Police on July 10. Police has booked sixteen people for running the sex racket and pushing the girls into the profession. According to sources, police busted two different sex rackets being operated at two different posh bungalows at Koregoan Park on Monday night.

Pankaj Dahane, deputy commissioner of police, crime, Pune, said, “We received information through our sources that a sex racket was being operated at bungalow no 9 in Koregoan Park. We sent our constable as a dummy customer. Four girls, who are from Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore and Guwahati, were rescued and sent to a rehabilitation centre. We have arrested Raju Sharma for operating the racket.”
