While Team India is facing the South Africa‘s challenge in the Test series, the former skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni is on his way to the Proteas land to join his team-mates for the six-match ODI series. But the former Indian skipper was not traveling alone. He was accompanied by fielding maestro Jonty Rhodes and his kids, India and Nathan Jon. Rhodes was travelling to his home country along with his kids.
Jonty, is currently in the country and is a regular figure in the Extraaa Innings studio show alongside Harsha Bhogle and other cricket analysts like Sanjay Manjrekar and more. The studio show gives in-depth analysis on the ongoing India vs South Africa Test series. Taking to Twitter, Rhodes shared a picture of Dhoni – who was seen holding his son Nathan – with a caption: “There are always feelings of concern when family leaves after 2 incredible months together, but I need not have feared; as they were in safe hands @msdhoni getting some advice from India and Nathan Jon on how to play in SA – he told them “mujhe pata hai” #SAvIND dhanyavaad Mahi”.
Earlier, Jonty shared plenty of photographs from different parts of India as he was on a vacation with his family. From taking a dip in the Ganges, to eating authentic South Indian food at his favourite hangout place in Mumbai, Jonty has been doing it all. There aren’t many overseas cricketers who love India, the way Jonty does.
Meanwhile, India have already lost the 3 match Test series as the Proteas took an unassailable 2-0 lead at Centurion. The 6-match ODI series between the two sides will begin from Thursday, February 1.
