Former ISRO scientist holds meeting with industrialists

INDORE:  Amid growing awareness to boycott use of goods manufactured in China, former scientists have started discussion over producing items indigenously with industrialists. Two former scientists held a meeting with over 50 industrialists here on Tuesday.

The meeting was jointly organised by AIMP, Laghu Udhyog Bharti and Vighyan Bharti. AIMP secretary Yogesh Mehta said that theme of the meeting was invention of indigenous technologies for nation’s development. Two experts— Dr Mithilesh Tiwari, former ISRO scientist and Dr Naveen Chandra, Coordinatior of Industry, Innovators, Entreprenuers, Facilitators and Academia (IIEFA) threw light on the subject.

“We are working on integration of industry, inventors, entrepreneurs, facilitators and academia through Vigyan Bharti will lay stress on growth and how cost of products can be reduced.”

Extending helping hand, Dr Tiwari said that help of our fellow scientists can be availed for producing patented products. He called upon industrialists to convey him problems of industry. He further said that this is a nationwide movement for improving nation’s capability. IIEFA is a recently floated open forum which is working for helping out and motivated MSME units of organised and unorganized both. The aim of the forum is to bring together industry and innovators.
