For the gorgeous stunner of ‘Dabangg 2’ and ‘Heropanti’, weekends are a time to let loose and let the fun flow…
‘Fri-yay’ is my favourite word of the week and I wait for it every week. I love the weekends because that’s when I get to meet my bunch of friends. Since everyone is busy with work throughout the week, the weekend is the only time I get to hang around with my girl gang. Saturday is for game nights and Sunday is for brunching.
Weekend like this
One of my most memorable weekends happened quite recently when I was in Bangalore for work. I wrapped up my work on Thursday and decided to stay back for the weekend so that I could catch up with friends and family since I grew up and did my schooling in Bangalore. It turned out to be a crazy time! I met up with a whole lot of friends that I hadn’t seen in years and went around the city to all the places that I used to go to back in the day. I also ate some amazing food, went club hopping, and listened to some kickass music until the wee hours of the morning.
I don’t get to travel that often because work is usually very crazy. And as actors, we don’t really have the regular jobs where we get the weekend off. But when I do get the opportunity it’s usually either Goa, Alibaug or Panchgani.
Quality time matters
Irrespective of what I am doing, just the fact that I am spending quality time with friends and family makes it memorable. Hence, I keep my work phone switched off and tucked away when I am with my loved ones. Speaking of which, can Karaoke with friends pass off as a hobby?! It is my fave thing to do.
An ideal weekend would be flying off to Goa, lazing by the beach, eating some yummy seafood, trekking to the butterfly island, setting up a camp for the night there, bonfire, music and friends –is all you need!
On weekends, I treat myself to absolutely anything and everything since Sundays are my cheat days. From pizzas, pastas and lasagnes, to fries, macaroons, everything high in sugar and carbs is my go-to food during weekends!
