Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan were one of the best on-screen couples and stole our hearts with their chemistry in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’. One of the main highlights of the film was the Navratri song ‘Dholi Taro’ which showed the ex-couple’s amazing chemistry and in the song, the two instantly stole our hearts. The two danced like there’s no tomorrow. Talking about the movie at the trailer launch of ‘Loveratri’, Salman was asked about his biggest moment of Navaratri festival. To which Salman replied, “My biggest memory of Navratri is Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. Dholi Taro.”
Meanwhile, recently Aishwarya spoke about reuniting with director Sanjay Leela Bhansali in both Ram Leela and Bajirao Mastani-both starring Deepika Padukone. Eventually, Bhansali wanted to cast Aishwarya and Salman in both the films, however, it couldn’t happen after the former couple’s ugly break-up. In a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, Aishwarya mentioned about Salman being one of the top contenders to play the lead in ‘Josh’. She said that the cast was meant to be Aamir Khan and Salman at one point and eventually it became Shah Rukh and Aamir’s part was eventually played by Chandrachur Singh.
Talking about Salman and Aishwarya, the ex-couple broke-up in 2003. And after their break-up, the two stopped talking to each other and kept avoiding each other at every public event.
