Ujjain : Saints community expressed their grief on the death of teenager Rohit who lost his life while working on the site ofs Khan Diversion Project few days ago, by reaching his home at village Abukhana, here on Tuesday.

General Secretary of local Akhada Parishad, Avadheshpuri Maharaj along with swami Pragyanand, Anupamdas and other saints also visited at village Gonsa where Rohit died due to land subsidence. Saints alleged that negligence of the contractor in providing safety equipments to the labourers became the reason of death of the teenager. Saints assured the parents of the deceased boy and said that justice will be done with them and in their struggle saint community will support them whole heartedly.

Saint Avadheshpuri also produced the Aadhar Card of the deceased boy which shows that Rohit was 14 year old and alleged that contractor was engaging children on the project site in the greed of paying fewer wage to them. Saints also raised questions on the quality of material being used in the project and alleged that contractor is busy in minting money by using substandard quality material in laying the pipeline.
