Sadhus of Niranjani Akhara pack bag from Simhastha Mela

Ujjain : The majestic Simhastha camp of Niranjani Akhara was concluded after a graceful ceremony which was organized here at the camp located at Badnagar Road, on Wednesday morning.

The closing ceremony commenced with the loosen up of the string of Dharmadhwaja by president of Akhara Parishad and Shri Mahant of the Akhara, Narendra Giri amid hundreds of Sadhus of the Akhara.

Then Ramta Panch and other saints after having Kadi Pakoda and Dahi Chawal together in the camp left for their respective Aashrams located primarily in Allahabad and Haridwar.

Fair manager of the Akhara, Ravindra Puri informed Free Press that there is ritual of eating Khichdi at the time of the hoisting of Dharmdhwaja and when camp concludes and Dharmdhwaja is lowered down Sadhus eat Kadi Pakoda and wind up the Simhastha camp. Saints Prem Giri, Dinesh Giri, Aashish Giri and other Sadhus of the Akhara were present.
