RRB Group C, D recruitment 2018: CBT on August 9, modify photographs, admit cards next week; details on indianrailways.gov.in

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the exam dates for the recruitment of ALP and technicians (CEN 01/2018). The first stage of Computer-Based Test (CBT) will be conducted from August 9. Candidates will get informed about their exam date, city and session by July 26. The call letters or admit cards will be available four days prior to the date of CBT of the candidate at indianrailways.gov.in.

On the other hand, RRB last week activated the link to check the application status of candidates applied for the Group C ALP and technicians and Group D posts at indianrailways.gov.in. Some candidates found their applications carrying invalid photos and hence the railway gave them another chance to do modification. The last date to submit the photo is by July 28, 11:59 pm.

Earlier, the examination was scheduled to be conducted in the month of March and April but the dateline was missed and now, RBB will conduct the same in August. Meanwhile, the admit card may get released in the last week of July. However, there is no official confirmation yet and candidates are advised to keep a tab on the official website, indianrailways.gov.in. Approx 1.5 crore candidates have applied for nearly one lakh jobs, the notification of which was released in March. Candidates can check official notification at the website, indianrailways.gov.in. For Group D, the selection will be done on the basis of a Computer Based Test (CBT).
