Mumbai: Riz Sunny uses his YouTube channel titled My Bollywood Body to promote healthy living in the West. He says the mention of Bollywood helps him attract Asians settled on the foreign shores. My Bollywood Body is an online fitness platform based in Canada. Started in 2016, the channel has over eight lakh subscribers, and hosts various fat loss programs like 100-day fat loss workout and a beginner’s body building program for starters.
“The name Bollywood Body is only from the West market perspective. Over here in Canada if you use a Bollywood name, the Asians residing here can resonate with the product,” Sunny told IANS. “Our primary target group (TG) are the Asians and hence a Bollywood name helps attract the right TG. They see the name Bollywood, they know we understand them, their culture, traditions, food and lifestyle,” he added.
Sunny also hosts two radio shows in Canada where he talks about the benefits and importance of exercising and he owns a line of protein products too.
