Rally marks beginning of 200th birth anniversary celebration of Baha’u’llah

Indore : To mark the 200th birth anniversary of Baha’u’llah, the founder of the Baha’i faith, local community members started a series of celebration to mark the occasion. In the series, the members took out a rally on Saturday.

Large number of community members from all walks of life participated in the rally taken out from Lantern Square to 56 Dukan and back.

Dr Geeti Wazdi Mitra said, “Baha’is about believing in a single, omniscient and almighty god. The religion accepts the validity of all religions and the unity of all people.”

She said that various programmes will be organised to mark the bicentennial anniversary of birth of Baha’u’llah from October 21 to October 29.
