Ujjain : Principal of Government middle school of village Sagwali, Mahidpur road was suspended by deputy director of education department for consuming alcohol in the school premises in presence of students.

Principal Ramchandra Makwana was caught red handed by the sarpanch of village Kalabai, vice sarpanch Bhupendra Singh Rathore and parents after school children left school midsession, unable to bear the smell of alcohol, and told parents about the incident. It was also revealed that, Makwana was a habitual drinker and often reached school in drunken condition.

The sarpanch informed district education officer Sanjay Goyal, who took the matter forward resulting in the suspension of the principal.
