Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the schedule of upcoming bilateral series with Australia and New Zealand. Pakistan is set to play Asia Cup starting from September 15 in UAE and later they will host Australia and New Zealand at the same venue.

Pakistan will play two Tests and three T20s against Australia from October 7-28. This will be Australia’s first Test match post the infamous ball-tampering scandal in South Africa which led to one-year bans for Captain Steve Smith and Vice-captain David Warner. Post that, Australia will host India for three T20s, four Tests and three ODIs. Following the Australia series, Pakistan will face New Zealand in three T20Is, three ODIs and three Tests starting from October 31. The New Zealand tour will end on December 7.

Pakistan is not hosting teams in their own country and using UAE as venue for home matches following the terrorist attack on the bus of the visiting Sri Lankan team in March 2009. Although some international matches have been played in Pakistan in recent years, Australia and New Zealand refused to visit the country due to security concerns.
