India vs Australia Day 1 at Adelaide ended on a high note with India’s Cheteshwar Pujara helping his side to finish on 250/9 at stumps. Pujara came to bat at a time when visitors were struggling, and Aussies soon reduced them for 127 for six in the 50th over. Pujara’s innings was worth watching. However, it met with a somewhat abrupt end as Pat Cummins’ stunning fielding got the in-form Pujara run-out for 123 and it was one of the ‘best run outs ever’.

Pujara produced good partnerships with the lower order before getting run-out. To note, Pujara brought up his first-ever century on Aussie soil today while his teammates continued to crumble.

For Australia, Pat Cummins, Josh Hazlewood and Mitchell Starc made a mark to send the star Indian batting line up packing to the pavilion.
