Bhayandar: In a much-needed relief for aspiring candidates who intend to contest the upcoming civic elections, they will not have to run from pillar-to-post to procure “no dues” certificates, as the Mira Bhayandar Municipal Corporation (MBMC) has decided to set up a single window dispensing system to issue the much-needed document.

Aimed at saving time and trouble, the system will work as the facilitator between aspirants and the civic administration.There are various departments in the civic body which deal with financial matters. It is mandatory for aspirants to procure certificates from all-related departments, including property tax, water supply, town planning, licence and local body tax, among others. However, there are some key wings like that for property and water where the chances of outstanding dues are higher.
