Netherlands vs Nepal 2nd ODI: FPJ’s dream XI prediction for Netherlands and Nepal

Nepal’s official debut on the 50-over stage, paradoxically, had a bit of a vintage feel to it in the end. The ODI debut failed to produce the result they would have wanted as the home team Netherlands clinched the 1st match easily by 55 runs. Though Nepal bowled really well to restrict the home side for merely 189 run, still they fell short of the target. Paras Khadka and Sompal Kami shared 7 wickets between them with 3 going to Sompal and 4 to the skipper Paras Khadka while KC Karan, Basant Regmi and Sandeep Lamichhane took 1 wicket each to bundle out Netherlands innings for 189. However, despite good start by openers Malla and Anil Sah team failed to reach target. Coming to 2nd ODI, Nepal will aim to bounce back and win their 1st international ODI. Here we see the probable dream XI for Nepal:

Nepal: Paras Khadka, Anil Sah, Gyanendra Malla, Sharad Vesawkar, Aarif Sheikh, DS Airee, Sompal Kami, Sandeep Lamichhane, Shakti Gauchan, Basant Regmi, KC Karan

On the other hand, Netherlands got off to a rollicking start after choosing to bat under sunny skies in the 1st ODI. However, their batting heavily relies on Myburg and Barresi. Michael Rippon was brilliant with his all-round show as he made a brilliant 51 off 76 and then claimed 3 wickets. The hosts are powerful with bowling especially skipper Seelaar and Klaassen. Here we see the probable dream XI for the hosts:

Netherlands: Pieter Seelaar, Scott Edwards, Bas de Leede, Wesley Barresi, Ben Cooper, Stephen Myburgh, Michael Rippon, Daniel ter Braak, Shane Snater, Fred Klaasen, Paul van Meekeren
