Cabinet minister Paras Jain, BJP candidate Manju Dadu meet BJP’s booth officers, urge to work hard to ensure victory
Burhanpur: The scrutiny of nomination papers of the candidates of forthcoming Nepanagar Assemby elections concluded with disqualification of Indian National Congress nominee, Kunwar Singh due to the nomination form being out of specified format.
Nominations of four other candidates — Antar Singh Barde (INC), Kumari Manju Dadu (BJP), Ver Singh (LokJanshakti Party) and RewantaLalaji (Republican Party of India) have also been disqualified.
Collector as well as election officer Deepak Singh informed that the candidates can withdraw their names latest by November 5,2016, 3 pm.
Meanwhile, Cabinet minister Paras Chand Jain met the BJP’s sector and booth officers here on Monday and urged them to work round-the clock for the upcoming elections.
Media officer Rajesh Rayaliwala informed that Jain along with ManjuRajendraDadu met the officers and discussed various issue related to the election. He also asked them to make the citizens aware and request their support on the basis of the development work.
Jain said that the state government schemes have been very beneficial for farmers, as the irrigated land has increased from 8 lakh hectares to 40 lakh hectares under the leadership of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan and soon, the target of 60 lakh hectare shall be fulfilled.
The electricity supply available is 17 thousand megawatt when the maximum demand is 12 thousand megawatt. He asked the officials to also tell about various schemes and development work to the citizens.
