Mumbai : After much delay, admissions to the Institute of Distance and Open Learning (IDOL) of the Mumbai University is set to begin today. The admission process will open on Friday for four first year programs – B.A, B.Com, B.Sc IT and B.Sc Computer Science.
The admission timetable for the rest of the programs will be announced soon, said a press release from the university. Last academic year, over 81, 000 students had taken admission into the institute.
Earlier Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management (PGDFM) and Post Graduate Diploma in Operations Research Management (PGDORM) were two-year courses run by the institute. Now, they have been changed to an improvised one-year curriculum.
All admissions will be taking place through the online mode. Candidates can log on to mu.ac.in/portal/distance-open-learning/ or log on to www.idoluom.org
For admission-related guidance, candidates can visit the Thane sub-campus of IDOL that opened last year.
