Mumbai: Mumbai University (MU) has opened a new web portal for its students to register their complaints instead of visiting the MU personally. Recently MU have received many complaints from students regarding results, so to help students MU has now opened a new web portal which help students.
Dr Dhiren Patel, acting pro vice-chancellor of the Mumbai University told Hindustan Times, “Students who have doubts or complaints regarding their results are required to submit their queries online. The university will try to redress their grievances on a priority basis.”
After the delayed results MU received many complaints about errors in results, so MU decided to open the web portal- www.asia-sp.in/MU/results.php – which allows the students to register their grievances. The complaints are then forwarded to varsity officials.
MU said that so far resolved about 500 complaints registered by BCom students online. The new portal will also be an alternative website for checking results. Before this portal was launched the students had to visit the MU’s Kalina campus. But MU has also assured that the results that have been withheld till now will be declared soon. Arjun Ghatule, in-charge director, board of e-examination and evaluation told Hindustan Times, “The university will strive to declare the results held in reserve for various reasons in the next 10 days.”
