Mumbai : While the unsaid war between the ruling parties in the civic body continues, BJP leader Shivnath Darade questioned the corporation in its education committee meeting on Monday for giving special grants to a single school which belongs to a Sena leader.
Darade said that out of all the sixty-one schools that are in queue for getting a grant from the civic body, the corporation chose to grant special aid to the Nirmal School in Wadala which is under Trushna Vishwasrao’s constituency who is the ruling party leader in the house.”
Darade said, “This is purely corruption on favoring the ruling party. Out of all 61, what was the need to give special aid to a single school which belongs to a Sena corporator.”
However, Vishwarao held the charges as baseless.
