The second merit list for admissions to First Year Junior Colleges (FYJC) in Mumbai has been declared today on the official site The list was earlier to be declared on July 16 but was delayed.

A statement on the official website earlier said, “As per the order of Hon’ble High Court on 12th July and accordingly government order dated 16th July, Round-2 merit list will be declared on 19th July, 11 am.” The students can now check the list on the official site.

In the first round, around 50,000 students were allotted seats. And now around 2.5 lakh seats are still vacant and will be will be filled up in the upcoming admission rounds.

Steps to check the merit list:

Step 1: Go to the official website

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the ‘FYJC merit list′ link

Step 3: A new page will open. Enter your registration number and other details

Step 4: Your result will appear on the screen.

Step 5: If required, download and take a print out

FYJC 2018: Documents required during admission

  1. Original mark sheet of class 10 or SSC exams or any equivalent recognised exam.
  2. Original school leaving certificate.
  3. Caste certificate (if applicable).
  4. Special reservation certificate (if applicable)
