Mumbai Crime: Woman catches husband in bed with her sister, is attacked by duo

A 37-year-old woman was attacked by her husband and her sister after she had caught them together in bed and confronted them. According to a report in Hindustan Times, the incident took place on January 29. On Tuesday, the police arrested 40-year-old Kaiser Khan. The complainant Shahjahan and the accused have a 23-year-old son.

On December 6, the victim came to know that Kaiser Khan married her sister Nuri, but they both denied after she confronted them. But later, on January 20, she caught the duo together in bed, and after which she left her Chembur house and went to mother’s house in Mahul.

Khan and Nuri, on January 29, visited her and asked her to come back and live with them. The meeting led to a heated argument, and later the couple attacked her and fled away. The victim was rushed to Shiv hospital in Chembur, and later the police were informed.

Police inspector Milind Kurde from RCF police station told the leading daily, “She had a severe injury on her head, which required 12 stitches, as well as injuries on her body. On the basis of the victim’s complaint, we registered a case against the two, but they had disappeared. We even checked their Bhiwandi house.”

After some days, police received a tip off that Khan had come to Chembur. And the police laid a trap and arrested him. Bu Nuri is still absconding. Khan was book under relevant sections of the IPC, and was produced in court. On Wednesday, Khan was released on bail.
