Mumbai: 51-year-old police constable bites ear of man in bizarre road rage incident

In a bizarre incident that took place at Dadar as part of a road rage, cops have booked a 51-year-old police constable for allegedly biting ear of a 30-year-old man and also assaulting him.

According to Hindustan Times, the incident took place on Sunday around 8 pm, when Amol Pol (victim) was on his way to Dadar railway station on his motorcycle to pick up his parents. Pol honked at Shivaji Sawant (accused) who was allegedly seated on the bike in the middle of the road and was blocking the way. This led to an argument between the two. Pol told the leading daily, “I told Sawant to mind his language. This angered him further as he then bit my left ear and hit my head with his motorcycle keys.”

After seeing both having a heated argument, the crowd gathered and Pol’s parents also reached the spot and separated both of them. After this, Pol approached Bhoiwada police station to file a complaint. This is where he came to know that Sawant is a police constable. The Bhoiwada police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.
