Mumbai: 31-year-old man’s body found with throat slit in Mahim

On Wednesday, the Mahim Police have found a body of a 31-year-old man whose throat was slit. The police have registered a case of murder against an unknown person.

According to Mumbai Mirror, the victim was identified as Afsar Khan (31), who is a resident of Navi Mumbai. The locals spotted a man in a pool of blood behind the tetrapods around 6:00 pm on Wednesday, exactly behind Hinduja Hospital. The locals rushed the man immediately to the hospital where he was declared dead on arrival. After which the cops searched him and found his mobile phone, through which his family members and informed them.

The victim stays with his brother, wife and other family members in Kalamboli near Navi Mumbai. Afsar Khan deals in automobile parts and police yet to find why he had to Mahim. The cops are scanning the CCTV footages to find the suspect. The body was handed over to his family members after conducting a postmortem.
