Mumbai: 30 Western Railway stations to get upgraded security

Mumbai: To ensure better security at various major Railway stations of Mumbai Metro city, Integrated Security System will be installed at 47 railway stations of Mumbai including 30 of Western Railway and 17 of Central Railway. Arun Kumar, Director General of Railway Police Force (RPF) said this ultra modern Integrated Security System will upgrade the existing security system on Mumbai Suburban Network to the next level in all respects.

The selected stations on WR are Churchgate, Marine Li­n­es, Charni Road, Grant Road, Mumbai Central, Mahalaxmi, Lower Parel, Prabhadevi, Dadar, Matunga Road, Mah­im, Bandra and Bandra Terminus, Khar Road, Santacruz, Vile Parle, Andheri, Jogeshwari, Goregaon, Ram Mandir, Malad, Kandivali, Borivali, Dahisar, Mira Road, Bhayandar, Naigaon, Vasai Road, Nalasopara and Virar.
