Mumbai: 25-year-old youth attacked in Kurla for asking biker to drive slowly

Mumbai: A 25-year-old youth was attacked at Nehru Nagar at Kurla on Tuesday night for requesting a biker to drive his vehicle slowly to avoid accidents. The incident occurred at 11:30 p.m. Sushil Tejaram Suvasiya (25) was attacked near Macchi market Marg at Kurla (E) when he spotted an unidentified biker speeding. Suvasiya chased the biker and asked him to stop and requested him to ride the bike slowly.

The accused, however, reacted violently and attacked Suvasiya with an iron rod on his head. The unknown biker also threw stones at him. Suvasiya has suffered injuries on his head and right hand. He was rushed to Rajawadi hospital at Ghatkopar where he is undergoing treatment currently. Suvasiya is a resident of Thakkar Bappa colony at Basant Nagar in Chembur. On Wednesday, Suvasiya filed an FIR at Nehru nagar police station under IPC sections 324 and 34.
