Mumbai: Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis although claimed there was no survey conducted by any agency to review performance of Members of Parliament (MPs) and members of legislative assembly (MLAs) of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), The Free Press Journal has in possession the report card of union minister of state for defence Subhash Bhamre. The report card has given clear indication that the Muslim voters are against the BJP and even in future elections, the community may vote against the ruling party.

Bhamre represents Dhule constituency of the Lok Sabha. The report card of MPs and MLAs were handed over to them by the hands of Fadnavis recently. The FPJ had revealed the report card issue which was denied by the chief minister. Bhamre’s report has stated 37 people are happy with the existing MP. Bhamre said, “37 voters are happy with me. 12 per cent voters said its okay, can be considered.  One per cent voters said I should be given another chance to contest the next Lok Sabha election, whereas 12 per cent voters remained neutral.”

He further said, “Only 38 percent voters stated I should be changed in next election. This means, 50 per cent voters are in favour of me whereas 38 per cent people are against me.” In a survey conducted in all six assembly segments of the Dhule LS constituency, BJP received average 41 to 50 percent likes from the voters except in Malegaon central assembly segment. Malegaon central is the city area whereas Malegaon Out assembly segment covers rural surrounding area of Malegaon. In central city area, BJP gained only 10 per cent likes whereas in outer segments, highest 50 per cent people have liked BJP.

The survey claims average 9 to 15 per cent people like to vote Shiv Sena in next polls. Opposition Congress may gain votes between 5 to 41 percent whereas the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) may gain votes between 14 to 27 per cent. The BJP’s survey indicates, if Congress and NCP will contest jointly, they can grab votes between 19 to 60 percent.

According to Bhamre, there are six lakh Muslim votes in his constituency. “Muslims do not want to vote BJP or the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. So, I am not expecting favour in Malegaon central segment. But, from remaining five assembly segments, BJP would get good response that will result into victory of BJP candidate.”
