Rewa: Congress’ star campaigner Navjot Singh Sidhu, during his campaign in support of party candidate Abhay Mishra, appealed to people to uproot the Shivraj Singh government in the state. He also took part in the road show. Addressing a public meeting, Sidhu equated 15 years rule of the BJP with a worn-out old-vehicle which pollutes the air. He said this 15-year-old Shivraj Singh vehicle should be abandoned.

He alleged that Chouhan had cheated poor people of the state and helped the rich. Sidhu urged people to bring change in the government. Taking a dig at election speeches of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Sidhu alleged that Modi’s speeches were full of contradictions as he changed his stances as per situations. He alleged that the PM of being a liar as nothing could happen as promised by him. He claimed that Modi’s promises of transfer of Rs 15 lakh in the accounts of poor, running of Bullet train, clean Ganga and 2 crore jobs could not be materialised. Sidhu said Modi should tell what he did for people of Rewa.
