MP Assembly Elections 2018: Shop where Rahul Gandhi dined becomes hotspot for discussion

Indore: The shop where Congress chief Rahul Gandhi dined on Monday night, became a hotspot for Charcha and a few light moments on Tuesday morning. As the proud owner of Young Tarang restaurant stood on the counter showing pride in his gestures, some of his friends and nearby vendors questioned the photo on the wall. The scene became interesting when a couple of friends asked, “Tumne Congressi ko BJP ke yahan khana khila diya!’ (You got a Congress leader to dine at a place dedicated to BJP).

Among more funny teasers, people wondered if CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan was laughing and welcoming Gandhi in the photo with a glittering smile and wife by his side. Trying to keep it positive, the owner replied, “Oh don’t you worry! I will ensure that Gandhi’s picture is placed right next to Chouhan in the next couple of days.”

Further, some appreciated his work and showed respect to him mockingly saying “You are a great man, who got Congress president to eat in front of BJP leader.” Some tried to scare him by saying that parties will attack you after model code of conduct. The discussions lead to more lighter moments, when friends asked about the combinations tried by Gandhi. “He had tried mixed chat here and he would have licked his fingers,” said the owner.

As he was boasting about the delicious chats, his friends questioned his political inclination. “I have been supporting Congress since 1972 and am aware about every little incident that they have done,” the owner said.  However, some people advised him not to be so politically influenced. The owner also talked about his age and experience stating, “I know everything that parties have been doing, but all I truly care about is food.”
