The show Moh Moh Ke Dhaage (On Sony TV) , produced by Rahul Kumar Tewary and Saba Mumtaz, is really going places. The response to the show has been very positive. As Rahul Kumar Tewary says, “It’s a fresh show and people are liking the chemistry between Eijaz Khan and Niyati Fatnani.”
A successful producer, Rahul reveals the story behind the title, and says, “Initially, this title was not available and was owned by producer Yash Patnaik. The song Moh Moh Ke from the film Dum Laga Ke Haisha is very popular and it sums up the chemistry between Eijaz Khan and Niyati Fatnani in the show.
Talking about the cast and the story of the show, Rahul says, “The show is based on a unique subject and it’s something that has not been seen on television. The love story is completely different. For the casting of the male lead, It took us almost six months and we met a lot of actors until we finally met Eijaz Khan and cast him Mukhiya. We’re glad with it, as people who haven’t seen him on screen in a while, will be quite excited.”
On being asked about association with Saba Mumtaz he says, ” Saba Mumtaz is a fantastic person and fabulous in terms of creativity. She’s one of the most talented person I know and I am glad to be associated with her.
When asked what he felt about love stories and romance in television shows, Rahul says, “Romance plays out really well in India, and at the end of the day, love stories and India go hand in hand. I think ours is a different love story and that’s why the audience would want to know what happens between the couple.”
Speaking about the time slot of the show, Rahul says that anytime is prime time, and he considers himself fortunate as he has got a window to showcase his content. He reveals, “We always have an audience in India to watch if the show content is good. We have got a wide target segment from the age of 20 years to 45 years referring to Aru and Mukhi.”
