Miscreants attack cops in Pardeshipura

Indore : Two miscreants attacked a police constable when he tried to catch them under Pardeshipura area late on Friday night. Police have registered a case and a search is on for the accused.

Police received a tip-off that two miscreants were roaming in the area with knife and they are threatening someone for money near Shiva Temple after which constable Raghvendra Singh and Rajendra of Pardeshipura police station reached at the spot and they tried to catch the accused but one of them attacked Raghvendra with a brick and later the duo managed to flee from there. Rajendra informed senior police officials and took him to a hospital. They later reached at the police station and lodged a complaint against the accused. The accused were identified as Appi Chaukse and Shankar. Police have raided many places for the accused in the night but they could not be arrested till late Saturday night.
