Mumbai : Showing solid fighting spirit, Milan Club rallied splendidly to overcome Shelar FC by a narrow 2-1 margin in a round-4 match of the 2nd Borivali Premier Football League (BPFL), organized under the auspices of the MDFA by the Borivali Sports Foundation and played at the St. Francis D’Assisi Ground, Borivali (W).

In an evenly contested encounter, Shelar FC stunned the Milan citadel with an early strike through Prasad Sarang in the very sixth minute of the 70-minute encounter. Unfazed by that setback, Milan regrouped and got their act together and started to attack the rival area in search of goals. Their efforts were rewarded when Narendra Vakare found the target in the 20th minute and the teams went into the break tied at 1-all. On resumption, Milan continued to put pressure on the Shelar defence and managed to score second goal through Ronak Patel.
