Maratha Kranti Morcha to revive protest from Dec 1 if state does not grant reservations

Mumbai: After a meeting in Mumbai on Tuesday, organisers of the Maratha Kranti Thok Morcha (MKTM) announced their two point agenda — grant reservation to Marathas by November and withdraw cases against agitators of previous morchas. During the meeting, the steering committee members first condemned the jostling of journalists during various morchas and apologised for the same. The organisers have also threatened to lock out the Annasaheb Maha Mandal, if it fails to provide loans to 100 girls from every district. The MKTM organisers have committed to their community members they will pursue the cause of reservation, obtain the withdrawal of false cases against their participants, provide loans, set up a toll-free helpline for Marathas and an app for the community’s benefit.
