Uttar Pradesh: The much-hyped Ram Mandir issue has again come into limelight. Apparently, a video went viral on the internet in which Director General of Uttar Pradesh police is pledging to form Ram Mandir once again on the birthplace of Lord Rama, Ayodhya.

Watch the video here:

As per the reports of Newstrack, DG is raising slogans of ‘Jai Shree Ram’ in an event, where many other people were also seen pledging the same along with him. Reportedly, a 1982 batch Indian Police Service (IPS) officer, DG Home Guard Surya Kumar Shukla has now created havoc into the entire Uttar Pradesh Police department when he swore to build Ram Mandir, on the disputed Babri Masjid site in Ayodhya, at any cost.

Apparently, the video shows that the pledge was administered by Azam Khan from Hindu Munch. As the video went viral on the internet, many people have also started reacting to the same.

As per Newstrack, people who have seen the video say, “It is disgraceful that an officer posted on such an esteemed position promoting communal issues and disrespecting the judiciary of the country. Such acts lead to violence and create tensions in the society.”
