Man held for sending obscene videos to separated wife

Indore: A man was nabbed by ‘We Care For You’ cell of the city police on Saturday for allegedly harassing his wife by sending obscene videos and SMSes over her mobile phone.  The victim, residing in MG Road area had lodged a complaint with ASP (crime) Amarendra Singh, stating that she got married with Anil Yadav of Baigram in 2001 and was separated from him few years after their marriage, due to continuous harassment by the accused over petty issues. However, Anil recently had started sending obscene videos and SMS messages to her mobile phone and all her efforts to stop him did not yield any result, the victim claimed. Following the complaint, cell officials on Saturday arrested the accused from his residence and handed him over to MG Road police station for further action.

Girl commits suicide

A 27-year-old girl, Pinky Madloi  committed suicide by hanging self in her residence at Machla village under Tejaji Nagar area on Saturday. No suicide note was recovered from the spot, making it hard to ascertain the reason behind her suicide.
