The results of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) exams show 89.50% pass rate with girls outperforming boys. MSBSHSE on Tuesday declared the results. Though Mumbai has highest number of students appearing for the exams, it recorded the lowest pass percentage among all nine divisions.

14,29,478 students appeared for the examination and 12,79,406 passed. Girls outperformed with 93.5% pass rate while boys managed 86.15%. The pass percentage of physically disabled is 93.01%.

3,17,328 students appeared for the examination from Mumbai and 2,79,908 passed notching 88.21% pass rate. Konkan division registered the highest pass percentage at 95.2%.
