Indore : Taking a suo moto cognizance, a local court has registered a case in an alleged castration of 30-year-old man, who was attacked by a group of transgenders in May last year.

Bunty Moghele, who had disguised himself as a transgender to beg on trains, was alleged castrated by the group of eunuchs after he turned down their demand for a bigger share of his earnings.

After the incident, Moghele had approached police several times requesting to book the accused but he was returned blank all the times.

Taking a cognizance of his plight and the incident, District Court judge Jitendra Singh Kushwah registered a case under various sections including 436 and 315 of the IPC .

According to Bunty, one Anita Guru, who is said to be the leader of transgenders, had asked him to meet her at Indore railway station to broker a deal.

Bunty said he fell unconscious after drinking tea offered by the group of transgenders and later he found himself in a hospital with is private parts missing.
