Mumbai : DPCG ‘Kamakazees’ (Dadar Parsee Colony Gymkhana) struck top form and produced impressive performances as they blanked BG ‘Mavericks’ (Bombay Gymkhana) winning both their home and away ties by identical 3-0 margins in Group-H section during the second week of the Otters Club-Mumbai Snooker League (MSL) – 2017, conducted by the Billiards and Snooker Association of Maharashtra (BSAM).

Playing at home first, DPCG cueists were in total control and completely dominated the match. DPCG got off to a bright start with their doubles combination of Cyrus Kyani and Hushang Mazdayasna (+30) beat Prashant Agarwal and Vivek Wadhwa (+32) 73-35 in the first frame. Later, Ronnie Daruwalla  (+40) tamed Gautam Kirtane (+60) 111-84 and then Malcom Kapadia (+50) outplayed Varun Daga (+45) 111-73 to complete the win.

DPCG continued their domination with the same set of players recording another comfortable win to help them clinch a bonus point.

Meanwhile, CCI ‘Snooker Kings’  (Cricket Club of India) and DG ‘Warriors’ (Dombivali Gymkhana) also enjoyed successful outings winning both their home and away ties. ‘Snooker Kings’ defeated CG ‘Dynamics’ (Catholic Gymkhana) 3-1 and 3-1, while the Dombivali team prevailed over Otters ‘Rockets’ (Otters Club) 3-2 and 3-0.
