Kaliadeh Palace & Bavan Kund: A hotspot for Simhastha pilgrims

Ujjain :  Visitors of Simhastha Mahakumbh are beating the heat at the city’s tourist spot Kaliadeh Palace and Bavan Kund these days. Attractive falls and the historical fort tempt the visitors to explore their beauty.

As the temperature has soared to 43 degree Celsius in the daytime, the visitors find this spot a heaven on the earth and are hitting it in large numbers. Beside the palace is Bavan Kund tourist spot where 52 wells are built in which the stream flows constantly. The spot has turned a water sporting station for the outsider visitors. A group of pilgrims from Bihar told that they had come to visit the Simhastha Mahakumbh from Gaya district. They visited Mahakaleshwar temple after taking bath in Kshipra. They were then visiting the tourist and heritage spots of the city.


Pilgrims also praised the Kaliadeh Palace saying that it was the best example of Indian historical architect. Stream flowing in Kshipra when passes from the Bavan Kund, it takes the shape of waterfalls which infatuates the visitors. People behold the falls sitting on the higher places listening to the melodious noise created by the water. Visitors also praised the arrangements done by the State government.
