Online registration for Joint Entrance Main (JEE Mains) exam will begin from September 1 and the last date for registration is September 30. The JEE Mains will be conducted twice a year with first to be held from January 6 to 20, 2019 and second from April 6 to 20. Students clearing the JEE Main are applying for admission to NITs, IIITs and CFTIs participating though Central Seat Allocation Board. As the registration process is set to begin from September 1, here is all important things candidates needs to know.
Here’s how you can apply for JEE Mains 2019 exam
Step 1: Open the official website nta.ac.in.
Step 2: Click on the link ‘apply for the online registration for JEE Mains exam 2019’
Step 3: Register yourself for the application
Step 4: Submit your details asked in the application form
Step 5: Submit your application fees with necessary documents and submit
Step 6: Download or take a printout for future references
JEE Main I: January exam
Online submission of application forms: September 1 to 30, 2018
Downloading of admit cards: December 17, 2018
Dates of examination: January 6 to 20, 2019 (8 different sittings and candidate can choose any one)
Declaration of results: January 31
JEE Main II: April exam
Online submission of application forms: February 8 to March 7, 2019
Downloading of admit cards: March 18
Examination date: April 6 to 20 (8 different sittings and candidate can choose any one)
Result declaration date: April 30.
Candidate should clear plus two exam with Science as a stream (Physics, Chemistry, Maths) and 50% marks.
