Jammu and Kashmir: Mentally challenged man killed after he tried to enter Budgam Air Force Station

Budgam: The security forces at the Budgam Air Force station in Jammu and Kashmir shot dead an unidentified individual when he crossed the security fence and came close to the perimeter wall.

The incident took place yesterday when the person crossed the security fence even after repeated warnings from the sentry.

The initial information reveals that the individual was mentally unstable, as he had no footwears, identity card and was without proper winter clothes. The police is trying to identify the man, who seemed to be around 50-55 years old. A case has been registered and an investigation is underway
