Anand L Rai quashes the actress’ claim from another daily where she spoke about starting the work on ‘Tanu Weds Manu 3’
Actress Kangana Ranaut has landed herself in yet another soup. Recently, a daily quotes the actress and the acclaimed filmmaker Anand L. Rai saying that they will start the shooting for Tanu Weds Manu 3 sometime next year. But the “Raanjhanaa” director has come out strongly to refute any such claims.
“TWM 3 is defiantly not happing. I do have something in the pipeline with Dhanush and will start work on it only post filming my current movie (with SRK),” clarifies Anand.
Rumour had it that during the shooting of “Tanu Weds Manu returns” filmmaker and the actor had a falling out due to which Anand refuses to work with the actress again. In the recent news report the “Queen” actress also taunted the filmmaker as someone who requires a lot of pampering, something that has not gone well with the director who has been at the helm of some of Kangana’s top movies.
After her last outing “Simran” failed to make a great impact at the box office, many have touted her strategy of making her private life public the reason for the debacle.
Although this is not the first time that the actress has rubbed a filmmaker the wrong way. Kangana and “Simran” director Hansal Mehta also couldn’t see eye to eye by the end of the movie. It was said that the director was unhappy with Kangana meddling into the making of the film. Later an online publication also quotes the actress calling the director a “spineless filmmaker”
