There was no shortage of excitement during Delhi Capitals vs Rajasthan Royals match at Jaipur on Monday. While Ajinkya Rahane and Rishabh Pant shone with the bat for their respective teams, Rajasthan spinner Riyan Parag made an impression displaying a different kind of talent.
After dismissing Shreyas Iyer for four, Parag broke into a traditional Bihu dance, and his moves were really smooth. Bihu dance is an indigenous folk dance of Assam. Related to the Bihu festival, it is a significant part of Assamese culture.

Delhi Capitals defeated Rajasthan Royals by six wickets in the match. Sent into bat, Rajasthan Royals scored 191 for six in the stipulated 20 overs, and then, Delhi Capitals chased down the target with four balls to spare. Rishabh Pant starred for Delhi with a buccaneering 78 off just 36 balls after Shikhar Dhawan put the chase in place with a blistering 54 from 27 balls. Delhi’s victory meant Ajinkya Rahane’s hundred went in vain.
Delhi Capitals top the points tally with better run rate while Chennai and Mumbai Indians are in the second and third positions. Earlier, blending panache with power, Ajinkya Rahane roared back to form with a scintillating century and propelled Rajasthan Royals to 191 for six. Rahane remained not out on 105 off 63 balls, decorating his knock with three sixes and 11 fours, while Steve Smith contributed 50 off 32 deliveries.
However, Pant looked at his menacing best at the Sawai Man Singh Stadium. Chasing 192, the wicketkeeper-batsman added 84 for the 3rd wicket with Prithvi Shaw and helped his team register their seventh win in the ongoing IPL 2019. “I am feeling lovely,” said Pant at the post-match present.
