People who have held on to their old iPhones, hold on to your seats a bit longer as the most awaited iPhone series could be launched on September 12, in an Apple event.
Two of the three phones are expected to be updated versions of Apple’s existing iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 plus. The third, however, is likely to be the much-rumoured iPhone 8. This can cost you a whopping $1000 and is also said to have new features like wireless charging and facial recognition. It will have a full glass which will have no home button–what iPhones get their look from– and significantly higher resolution.
But the Apple event won’t only have iPhone as their only highlight. The event will also highlight products like a 4K Apple TV set-top box is also on the cards, according to a Bloomberg report. The event will also have another product to be highlighted is the Apple watch 3.
According to reports, the rumoured Iphone 8 will hit the US stores first that is in September and likely to launched in October in October. The iPhone 8 will have a limited supply which can make it costlier and don’t forget the recently introduced GST.
The biggest change to the iPhone 8 will be the display. The iPhone 8 will have a 5.8-inch OLED bezel-less display with a full frontal glass, it won’t have home button, and the Touch ID could be gone on the new iPhone. Instead, it will have a facial recognition. It will also have glass and metal design and will support wireless charging. iPhone 8 will have a dual-rear camera, but vertically aligned and not horizontally like iPhone 7 plus. Other specifications will include the new A11 chip on the iPhone, base storage variants starting at 32GB and going up to 256GB, according to reports.
