Mumbai: Students from different parts of the country will get an opportunity to exhibit their talent at the Indywood Talent Hunt, the flagship event of Indywood Film Carnival starting December 5. Indywood Film Carnival will be hosted at HITEX Convention Centre, Hyderabad from December 1 to 5 this year.
This talent hunt serves as an international platform to identify talented youth and guide them to choose their career at the campus or school level. In addition, it provides an opportunity for the shortlisted students to gain an exposure to the film Industry by performing amid filmmakers from across the world.
Last year, over 2,500 finalists participated in 22 creative disciplines in this talent quest. And this year, competitions will be held in 28 categories including advertisement, promotional video, animation movie making, children’s short film, CSR movie making, DJ war, documentary film, drama, dubsmash, educational video, film quiz, group dance, Indywood Vision, model hunt, mono act, music band, music production, performance art, poster designing, reporter or journalist, RJ war, short film making, solo dance, solo music, photography and VJ war.
‘All Lights India International Film Festival’, another event, will screen over 100 films from 50 countries. The carnival aims to form 100 Indywood talent clubs in major educational institutions across the country to provide a platform for students to exhibit their talent throughout the year.
