Indore: Two docs win gold medals for research work

Two orthopaedic doctors of MGM Medical College won gold medals in paper presentation competition held at 37th state level orthopaedic conference. The conference was organsied by Indian Orthapaedic Association. Dr Ankit Kaithwal won gold medal for presenting research paper on ‘Comparative study to evaluate functional outcome of long PFN and long PFNA (Helical Blade) in elderly patients with I/T fractures.

Prof Dr Anand Ajmera won gold medal for his research paper on ‘Early results of modified quadricepsplasty for congenital dislocation knee’.  In last five years, orthopaedic department of MGM Medical College has won five gold and six silver medals in state level competitions and has won one gold medal in national conference organised in 2017. College dean Dr Jyoti Bindal congratulated the doctors for their success.
