Mhow: A crack in the railway track near Pigdambar forced the DMU passenger train that runs between Mhow and Indore to come to a halt on Wednesday.

Santosh, a resident of Pigdambar, was passing from the spot at 8.10 am when he noticed the crack and he rushed to the nearest railway station to inform the officials concerned.

Railway staff reached the spot immediately to carry out repairs and resume the train service. Railway officials said that during winter season such small cracks did occur.


At least 12 cartons of country liquor were seized from a house in Kodriya village by a team of excise department following a raid. Main accused is on the run while two, Sanjay and Sanju of Dhar, were arrested.
