Indore: Thieves took away jewelries, cash in Chandan Nagar area

Indore: Thieves targeted a locked house in Chandan Nagar and managed to flee with jewelry worth lakhs of rupees and cash kept in box of pulse in Chandan Nagar area. Police suspect that the crime was committed by any known person. However, police registered a case and started investigation.

The incident took place at the house of Sabina Qureshi in Gulabbag Colony on Dhar Road. House owner along with family members had gone to somewhere a couple of days ago when thieves struck there and committed theft. The incident was discovered when she returned home. She entered house after unlocking the gate when found the goods in disarray. Jewelries were also missing from the box of pulse in the kitchen.

Complainant informed the police that thieves entered house from the door of back side of the house. Only jewelries were found missing. Thieves only targeted the pulse box in which jewelries and cash were kept. Police believed that the incident committed by any known person as other goods of the house was not stolen by the thieves. Thieves also burnt the original bills of the jewelries kept in the box. Police have detained some suspects in connection with the theft.

In another incident, thieves struck at the house of Manish Kumar Chhawal in Pink City and decamped with LED TV and other goods from there. The complainant had gone somewhere when thieves entered the house after breaking the lock. In third incident, thieves entered the house of Sunil Kumar in Sneh Nagar and took away cash and jewelries from there.
