Indore: While special investigative team (SIT) led by retired Supreme Court judge Justice Deepak Verma held hearing in multi-crore Pinnacle Dreams fraud case on Thursday, Pinnacle Dreams Sangrash Samiti cried foul stating that their lawyer was not “entertained”.
Pinnacle Dreams Sangharsh Samiti president SL Sharma said they were not heard in the last hearing held on August 14. Therefore, they had sent their lawyer before SIT this time. But he was also returned on the pretext that he did not have proper documents.
Sharma alleged that the SIT was pre-decided. The SIT wants to give contract of the incomplete project to builder Sharad Doshi’s company. “It is the same company, which wanted to do an agreement with investors for Rs 700 per sq ft but offer was not accepted,” Sharma alleged.
Meanwhile, the SIT heard aggrieved people and others on Thursday and fixed next date for hearing on September 3. SIT was constituted by Indore bench of Madhya Pradesh High Court for probing the alleged real estate fraud case. Ashish Dass, the developer of Pinnacle Dreams project, was arrested from Mumbai in July first week. He was wanted in seven cases registered at different police stations in Indore for cheating people. In some cases, he registered a property in the name of two buyers by taking money from both of them.
